Oh, the excitement around here this morning!
It was time to draw a name out of a hat to see who would be the recipient of the 1941 Apron pattern.
I put all the names in a hat . . .
See? There they are!
Coerced Papa Pea into closing his eyes, sticking his paw into the hat and bringing out a name. (If I'm going to keep this up, I must have Chicken Mama show me how to use that Random Number Generator thingie so I look a little more professional.) And the winner turned out to be . . .
CAROLYN "RUFFLES" RENEE!
Carolyn, if you'll go over to the "Contact" button on my right hand side bar and send me your mailing address, I'll get the pattern sent off to you first of the week.
Thanks to all of you who entered. Wish I had had an extra pattern to send to each and every one of you.

WOW! Check the sky for locusts....not only did I win the DVD from Julie over at Mooberry Farm, but now THIS! I gott'a go run out and buy me a lotto ticket!!
Thanks so much! Oh, wait a second. Now there will be pressure to make the apron! Aaauuugggghhhh!!!!!!
:)
After reading Carolyn's response, maybe I should be very happy to NOT have won. I have enough stuff by my sewing machine to last all of 2012 ... easily. Don't really need the pressure of having to add something to the top of the pile. What was I thinking by adding my name to this giveaway? Think I'll just wait for a cookie cookbook to be offered!!!hehehe
Congrats Carolyn! Very cool.
very lucky gal and is that real holly I see looks so real
Carolyn Renee - You are on a roll, Girl! By all means, do run out and buy that Lotto ticket!
Now, now, now. Absolutely no pressure to make the apron. (I'm saying this because yesterday I received the apron pattern I won from Susan at e-i-e-i-omg!) We all have too much to do now through the first of the year so nooooo pressure!
Karen L. - Be careful what you wish for, m'dear! I have some cookie cook books coming up to be given away!
Nancy - I have no doubt Carolyn will make this apron and model it for us all . . . when she has the time to sew it, of course
judy - Nope, no real holly. Just a couple of sprigs of artificial red berries stuck in a philodendron plant!
Congrats you ruffley lady, you! No pressure from this chick...but hey, I do think you should go buy a lottery ticket!
Congratulations! It looks like a really fun pattern. Thanks MP, for putting on a giveaway. I love them, even though I don't enter many!

Mama Tea - Do ya think CR did go buy that lottery ticket? I really think she should have!
