The cutest knit red union suit you ever saw.
And check out the reverse side with the "back door!"
I put it up right away as part of the holiday decorations on the pegs of the drying rack in our bathroom.
It's too cute to be packed away with the Christmas stuff. I think it's very appropriate to have a special spot on the rack all winter long.
Thanks, Sweezie, you clever girl!
Thank you, Mama Pea! I keep a certain tiny sweater and mitten up all year long! I LOVE that little canoe!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, that is so cute. I agree, cute enough to keep up after Christmas.
ReplyDeleteSo, so cute!
ReplyDeletePrecious!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet little knit, very twee....and inspires me to think about knitting some little things for next Christmas, which might also inspire me to get the Christmas tree down from the loft where it has resided since we arrived here. I said I would do it for the 2018 Christmas but never did!
ReplyDeleteThat Susan is such a clever girl. That's so tiny! don't know how she did it. What a great xmas decoration. She knits some really lovely items. Ilike where you hung it, quite appropriate!
ReplyDeleteThat is the cutest!!! Did she use a pattern or is she just that good of a knitter? Amazing! I love your drying rack too and all your other hanging items. I started following her too....love the name of her blog! She's got a great sense of humor! Please show us the socks you're knitting. I too would like to try 2 at a time although I don't mind doing the second sock. I love the process of knitting now that I'm not too bad at it...lol! I still can't watch t.v. though unless it's the same stitch like the foot and the leg but I have to focus when doing even the brim of a hat...I even talk out loud to myself otherwise my mind wanders off and I make a mistake....sorry excuse for a knitter I am! Stay warm...it was frosty here this morning at 24 but my greens are doing great in my little 'greenhouse' (plastic container outside). Rain said she tried it up in Canada but it was too cold for that method. Toddles!
ReplyDeleteHow cute is that....??!!??!! ,-)
ReplyDeleteJust precious!!!!
✨✨✨✨
I definitely think a knit union suit should be required winter decoration for where you live!
ReplyDeleteSam I Am - Susan is a good knitter but she did use a pattern. It's on the Barrett Wool Co. website: barrettwoolco.com and is called "Little Long Johns."
ReplyDeleteMichelle - When we first moved up here forty-some years ago, for Christmas my mom sent me a red (insulated cotton, not wool, thankfully!) one-piece union suit. Like, in my size and I wore them. Gosh, I wonder what ever happened to those??
Mama Pea,
ReplyDeleteHow adorable!! Susan does amazing work with yarn.....so do you!!!
I think the little long johns need to remain hanging until spring arrives.
Hugs and love to you and yours.
Sandy - They say our ancestors wore their long johns from fall until spring time so no reason these can't be out that long! ;o}
