Anyone Need Some New Potholders?

If you're in the market for a couple of new potholders for spring, you may have come to the right place.

Front Side

I'd like to give away these potholders I made from some of the fabric I got as a surprise package in the mail last week.

Back Side

Just leave a comment in the comment section of this post and I'll put your name in a hat for a chance to receive them.

This is Tuesday morning so I'll pick a winner Thursday night about the time I shut down my computer (9 p.m.) and post the winner Friday morning.

Don't be shy . . . leave a comment!

  3. How cute! Love the "bacon" holder. I've recently learned to make a nice crocheted potholder but it sure doesn't look as nice as that!

    1. SciFiChick - These that I make have proved to be very "sturdy" and reliable. Plus they're washable (which is a requirement for my kitchen!) so I think you would like them.

  8. Please enter me in the contest. I would enjoy something new in my kitchen. I was telling P after lunch---in thirty years, I have had three new refrigerators, three new dishwashers, countless microwaves, and the same gold stove. It just will not wear out! Is that a good thing?

    1. Carol - Your name is in the hat! And you may be in luck with your good, ol' gold stove. Someone was just telling me last week that the "newest" color for kitchen appliances is . . . wait for it . . . GOLD!

  9. Happy Spring Greetings. I wanted to let you know about a friend of mine who is an amazing quilter and she has come up with doing quilted cards. www.onthetrailcreations.com is her website. I don't know if it has a gallery of her other work but when I finally saw her site I thought of you. Have a great day!

  17. Hey MP, I'm sort of back but I feel a whole lot more like your daughter does due to an ongoing move. Ugh! Feels like it will never be over! Anyway, I wanted to tell you that I tried your Cranberry/Almond Cake last week and it was definitely yummy. I will be making that one again. Nice and moist and tangy. Wished I had the pot holders you made when I took that cake out of the oven. Ha!

Potholders: They do so much, but are so under appreciated. Ah, such is life! ;o)

  24. Please pick me. I need potholders. Mine are brown and scorched. I don't know how that happens ;/. I love the cute fabrics. If I ever get in my sewing room I could sew a few but you know how that goes MamaPea.

  25. Lisa - How DO those potholders get so brown and scorched?? I guess they're just doing what they're meant to do. Good reason for us all to change them more often than we do. Your name is in the hat!
