I'm getting ready to do the final mix-up and baking of your fruitcake; tomorrow a loaf goes to Thanksgiving dinner so I am putting a lot of faith in your good taste! (Happy Thanksgiving!)

Happy Thanksgiving Mama Pea and family! For me, everyday is thanksgiving to God. It should be more than once a year.

Got the "bakes" part, done!

And the Stuffin' was a family affair, last evening.

The Newman's Creamed Potatoes, will be done here, by my husband, and taken over, by strong "grands".

The rest is done, next door.

So I am "done"... -smile-

Happy Thanksgiving!

Nancy - Our temp is still mild . . . mid-20s now at 6 p.m. But expecting heavy snow tomorrow through Sunday. It's about time! Hope you had a wonderful day with your family.

Michelle - Hope you had no left over fruitcake to bring home from your dinner!

Phil - It's been a very nice, low-key day thanks to my daughter handling more than half of the dinner. Hope you had a good Thanksgiving Day.

Jenn - It's been good. Hope yours has been, too!

J.L. Murphey - Gratitude and appreciation should be an everyday thing for all of us. Happy Thanksgiving Day to you and yours!

wisps of words - You are blessed to have your beautiful family right next door! If you brought home some leftovers, it's all good! ;o)

Mama Pea
Sounds like your Thanksgiving was wonderful! I’m thankful for all the tidbits you post year-round. Sorry this is late I had myself and 15 other people in my house yesterday and it was wonderful but boy was I tired even though everybody else did the lion’s share of the work with the potluck! Enjoy the rest of your holiday through the weekend stretch it out as long as you can.
