Can't Resist Sharing . . .

Some of you may have already seen this, but I hadn't until yesterday.  Chicken Mama's cousin in California sent it to her and she shared it with me.

A MINNESOTA POEM

It's winter in Minnesota,
And the gentle breezes blow.
Seventy miles an hour,
At thirty-five below.

Oh, how I love Minnesota,
When the snow's up to your butt.
You take a breath of winter air,
And your nose gets frozen shut.

Yes, the weather here is wonderful,
So I guess I'll hang around.
I could never leave Minnesota,
'Cause I'm frozen to the ground.

Thanks for sharing, K.  Now would be a nice time for you to visit, no?  Hee-hee.

Too Funny! Now the questions is..... "why" is it so funny..... could it be because there is a little truth written there?! :) I think you live in a stunningly beautiful place.

Thanks for all your comments! Sometimes I think you just have to laugh at your weather . . . 'cept, of course, when it's a real disaster . . . that's something else. We got about 8" of snow overnight with a couple more inches called for today. Lots of wind which is making it look worse than it actually is. Chicken Mama (who has the day off) can't get her plow truck started. I'm holding down the fort here while she and her dad are working on it. Wish them luck!
