I Refuse To Believe It

Nope, I just can't see it happening. Not when nearly all of our snow has melted and disappeared. Even though our temps are back in the deep freeze and we're back to wearing winter chore clothes.

Our area has been issued a Winter Storm Warning starting at midnight tonight and going to 3 p.m. tomorrow. Strong winds, blowing snow with an accumulation of . . . are you ready for this? Six to nine inches of snow. Arrrrgghh!

Do you think this could actually happen in the middle of April? Oh ya, sure, you betcha. It wouldn't really surprise anyone the way winter tries to hang on around here. But I really, really hope it doesn't.

Well if it does happen at least you know it won't stick around long. I hope the weather gives your area a pass.

Hope the snows blows on around you... We are getting high winds here and lots of rain, like one of our winter storms. It's wearing me out...

Up here in Ontario, I've seen full-out blizzards in April, although not every year. Just hold on. Spring's almost here. We've been having really cold days, too, just sitting above freezing.

You ready for that beer, now?

It's pouring buckets here now, but they're calling for wet and slushy snow later. The never ending hell...........

That's downright depressing. It's supposed to rain all day here, but the old adage says "April showers..." and all that, so the wet makes perfect sense.

Stay away from all windows and close your eyes when you let the dog out. If you cant see it, it is not there. Right?

Sparkless - Yupper, that is one good thing about snows this time of year. They melt quickly! (Usually.)

Ruth - Seems to be a wet spring in much of the country. Better than too dry though. :o}

Canadian Doomer - Welcome and thanks for commenting! Looking out on our snow this morning, I feel like I've been sent back to January!

Sue - Sounds like you'll be spending today inside, looking out, mumbling bad words, and . . . open a second beer for me, will ya?

JJ - "April showers bring May flowers." I may have to spend the day thinking of a rhyming line for "April snowstorms bring . . . ?"

judy - You can bet the woodstove is corking away this morning . . . and feels gooood!

Jane - La-la-la-la-la-la-la . . .

oh no! Well, Mother Nature chose the best people to handle what's coming, right?! No mention on our weather here until today about what's coming in a couple of hours - winds over 60 mph and heavy downpours... my poor tomatoes, oh well...

Erin - Oh, your POOR tomatoes! You need big plexiglass boxes to set over those 'maters to protect them when you get those horrendous winds!
