  12. A white Christmas! Not so much a surprise in Minnesota I suppose but here in PA it is sketchy. We almost had one, we got a foot of snow on the 18th, and then while you got a little snow, we got a LOT of rain. Sigh. Next year. I am lucky to have a neighbor who keeps our joint drive plowed out, and the township cares for the roads very well. Good thing since I only have the one neighbor for 1/2 mile in any direction....again not unusual on a homestead, but I just have a small parcel out of town. May the coming year bring joy, and a lot more calm and family filled times!
