We did get some snow over night.
Even our back door (the only door we use for coming and going) wreath which is in a semi-protected spot got some snow on it.
There's not much more than 4" of very light, fluffy snow but it's enough to make things look clean and winter-y.
Wa-HOO!
Yeah! We are getting snow too and it's still coming down. looks to be about 2-3 inches out there now.
ReplyDeleteSparkless - How much snow did you get today? We didn't get any more than the 4". Darn.
DeleteThat's the only thing I like about snow. The clean look and fresh smell to it. Yeah for the white stuff!
ReplyDeleteTami - Ha! And I guess that's why you live where you do and why I live where I do! I simply don't understand people who live up here in northern Minnesota and complain, complain, complain about the cold and snow. Duh, it comes every year, Folks!
DeleteLooks so nice and clean compared to my mud, but as soon as Papa Pea gets that deck shoveled it will probably snow again, that's job security for anyone with a snow shovel.
ReplyDeleteTombstone Livestock - It was still snowing as he shoveled himself to the bird's flat feeder to refill it with seed. It's my job to keep the deck shoveled (how'd that happen??) but after I cleared it about an hour later, no more snow fell.
DeleteEnvy!
ReplyDeleteRuth - You just need to move up closer to the tundra like me!! ;o)
DeleteWell, looks like Ms. Grumpy-Dump has cheered up considerably!!! And all ir took was snow? Why didn't you say that's what you needed. Maybe we could have done a snow dance for you. Glad to "see" you are smiling and cheery again ... as opposed to that last photo of you! Yikes! Scared the heck out of me!
ReplyDeleteKaren L. - Snow and lots of talking to myself and maybe a swift kick in the butt also. (Not so easy to do.)
DeleteYou'll notice I deleted the photo . . . someone commented they were offended by it 'cause it looked like I had had a stroke. And here I was just trying to be funny!
Although I can't lie and say that I share your enthusiasm about the white stuff, I can at least enjoy YOUR enjoyment!
ReplyDeleteAre you shitting me that someone was offended by the picture?!? (how's THAT for being offending) I though it was great, showing us you in all your crabby/cranky glory!
Carolyn - You have a good point about the snow, O-Wise-Woman. Shoveling, plowing and clearing off vehicles can get old if you have to do it too often! (Like spend a couple of hours on it every day. But we haven't had a winter like that in a long time.)
ReplyDeleteRegarding my "cranky" picture, my daughter said some people sure do get their undies in a bundle over dumb things. If it had been something I cared enough about, I would have left it up and told the complainer to go take a long walk on a short pier. Hee-hee!
Yay!
