What?
You don't think this is a good arrangement?
You think I could have planned it so it was a little more convenient?
You really don't like the new layout, huh?
Will I EVER have my kitchen organized again?
Maybe if I just find a place for the refrigerator rather than in the middle of the room it will all look better. Whatcha think?
I'm a thinking you'll probably be up half the night "arranging" stuff the second you get the go ahead. Enjoy---this is the best part!
ReplyDelete:)
Organization is highly overrated;)
ReplyDeleteThe refrigerator may be more convenient if it's centrally located? :) Putting everything back is one of the most rewarding parts. Have fun.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Jane but my sister -in-law didn't think so-she re-did my whole fridge????????????
ReplyDeleteLOL! I love the new layout. You'll get lots of exercise weaving and bobbing around things. Plus all that bending to pick up things off the floor, Bonus!
ReplyDeleteSometimes things look worst before they get better and I'm thinking this is one of those times, or at least I'm hoping it is for your sake.
:) It looks to me like you're actually really near an unveiling. Can't wait to see it!
ReplyDeleteHehe, I love your sense of humor, especially through such a large remodel! I can't wait to see the finished product:) I don't know how you are functioning with it that way, bravo!
ReplyDeleteYou'll love it when its all done!!!
ReplyDeletePft! You just tell who ever discriminates...
ReplyDeleteDon't like it? Don't look at it!
Sue - Don't know what's with me but I am p-double-ooped right now. I think this is all getting through to me. As my hubby reminded me tonight, I've been without a kitchen for a long time now and I think it's getting through to me. (Aw, poor baby! Now snap out of it!!)
ReplyDeleteJane - I'll drink to that!
odiie - I've had stuff stashed in so many places for so long I'm a little overwhelmed at the task of getting it all organized now!
judy - Did any good come from it??
Sparkless - I think you, m'dear, have hit it right on the head. Time for an upturn!
Patty - Yup, just have to pull it all back together . . . without falling apart myself! ;o]
Stephanie - Functioning? Am I functioning? I'm beginning to wonder!
Val - You are so right . . . and I'm very grateful we are able to do all this!
APG - Okay, Tough Girlie! I'll do what you say! ;o}
ReplyDeleteAlmost done! Can't wait to see it all put together.
ReplyDeleteLOLOLOL! I getting glimpses of going through this myself. Please tell me there's light at the end of the tunnel!
ReplyDeleteI really like the tile!
ReplyDeleteyes it did,I'm just being over -sensitive and foolish,it needed re-organizing and I just didn't have the time.it just felt weird from a women I have not seen or talked to in 20 years [ long story I won't get into]
ReplyDeleteI've gotta say, everyone, I saw things put back together last night, and it's REALLY starting to look TERRIFIC! Mama Pea's gonna have an amazing kitchen in not too long a time now! And just in time for holiday cooking! :) I think the only "big" thing that's left in the kitchen is painting the cupboards. Right?
ReplyDeleteP.S. Judy, your SIL redid YOUR refrig?? Just came into your house and decided to? Ummm, yeah, that's weird. More to the point, it's RUDE!
ReplyDeleteI was getting upset FOR you until I read Chicke Mama's comment, so I know it's better. Geez! I'd be top-to-bottom hives if I had to navigate all that just to get dinner made! I can't wait to see the finished product - it will be gawjus.
ReplyDeleteIt's getting there, it's getting there! Just a few more pushes and pulls and it will look like a kitchen again. You will sit and admire it for a while and then you will dig in cooking up a storm!! The end is in sight.
ReplyDeleteJust like the little choo choo, yes you can, yes you can, yes you can.
Hugs
Yvette
I though everbody stored their pots and pans in the middle of the floor. Gee maybe I better move mine ROTFLOL
ReplyDeleteLooks great. Comin right along. Soon, friend, soon you'll be back in your new and improved kitchen makin some yummy meals for Papa Pea!!
dr momi - I can't wait to see it all put together, too!!
ReplyDeleteLeigh - As they say, I see the light at the end of the tunnel but I hope it's not a freight train 'cause I'm too pooped to get out of the way! ;o]
LindaCO - Thanks! I'm happy to say I like it, too.
judy - I guess I kinda consider my refrig a "private" place. Sure wouldn't want anyone else fussin' around in there!
Chicken Mama - I was planning on taking some pics and listing what all still needs to be done. Just didn't get to it today. Tomorrow?
Susan - I was trying to rustle up some dinner a couple of night's ago, but was getting close to throwing in the towel because I couldn't find things like a knife or coconut oil or can of black olives. I think Papa Pea knew a melt down was in sight because he insisted we order burgers from town and offered to go get them. (And he HATES food that's not homemade.)
Yvette - I need your encouragement which you always offer so freely. Thanks.
Freedom - Thank you, too, for your kind encouragement. Made a little more progress yesterday but see a great move-ahead day coming tomorrow!
Ha! I remember living like that for so long that it didn't bother me anymore, that's how I knew it was time to finally finish up!
ReplyDeleteErin - I simply CANNOT imagine you living in disorganization like that. You would have had it all remodeled and back in great working order in about one week flat. (And you and hubby did it with a toddler and a baby!)
