After a couple (or six) interruptions this morning, I'm finally getting in here to my computer to announce the winner of the Pay It Forward book exchange.
On slips of paper I wrote the names of all you readers who indicated you'd like to receive a copy of Catherine Friend's book, "Hit By A Farm."
Then I trekked up to hubby's office and put all the slips of paper in my new winter flap hat.
I told him he had to close his eyes, mix the slips of paper around with his fingers, and draw one out.
And the winner is . . . JILL!!
Jill, if you go over to the right hand side bar of the page, click on the "Contact Me" button, and send me an e-mail with your mailing address, I'll get the book off to you pronto.
Thanks to all of you who entered. Wish I had had a dozen books to send each of you one.
Congrats, Jill! I'm sure you will love your new book.

PS, nice handwriting!
Mama Pea,
ReplyDeleteThanks for choosing my book. What a marvelous idea... I think I might steal it for my own blog....
And I'm sure you are adorable in PJs. It would totally make my day to stop by and find you comfortable in PJs---I'd think---Wow, what a great idea!
Catherine
Lori - Thanks, Lori. The older I get, the more my handwriting reminds me of my mom's. Strange, huh?
ReplyDeleteCatherine - When I "won" my book way back in August, I knew yours was the one I wanted to offer in turn. Great idea to do it on your blog. Would also be a great idea for you TO POST MORE OFTEN!! I know, I know. There are only so many hours in a day. But your posts are ALWAYS so interesting and funny and enjoyable.
Me in my PJs . . . yeah, can't you just see me down on my hands and knees in ruffled pink baby dolls pulling weeds in the garden? No, never mind . . . don't try to imagine it. ;o)
Oh FairyBlogMother-- just wanted to let you know I'm fulfilling my part of the Pay It Forward bargain now. Post is up on my blog!
ReplyDeleteMaineCelt - Oh, oh, oh, I so wanted to be in the running for your Pay It Forward but I guess I'm not eligible, am I? Rats.
