I am not a great fan of winter, but would miss it if we had none. That being said, I've always loved "the holidays". <br /><br />De decorates for the fall rather than Halloween, and will decorate for Christmas the day after Thanksgiving. Those decorations will stay up until the day after New Years. Then winter, then spring, then, summer.... I bake ONE treat, I decorate the two rooms we spend 99 percent of our waking hours in, I cut the outdoor decorating in half. Perfect! <br />I so adore winter---skiing, snowmobiling, reading, painting, baking and cooking. I let NOTHING interfere with that. I did "THE HOLIDAYS" for most of my life. This is MY time now!<br />Selfish? Perhaps.
