Knowing busy spring time may come early this year for us up here where winter never arrived (no snow on the ground when normally we would still have at least a couple of feet), I've been making time to play in my quilt room.
I knew I had a bunch of half-square triangles left over from a previous project and wanted to use them if possible.
I'm pretty sure they reproduced in storage.
End result? I'm pleased, but all those pointy points to try to match!
Somehow, I still have 4,776 more triangles left. Any ideas?

Nice! I am hoping to get a crocheted blanket done before our cold weather leaves our area. The weather has been up and down, and crazy. The daffodils are coming up, and now we are back to pretty cold temperatures. I'm taking advantage of it, and working on that blanket. Maybe make hot pads to gift next holiday? Donate them somewhere?
They were nicely sorted for storage...that is a good idea and makes using them a bit easier.

Fabric scraps are like old photos. No matter how many I scan and sort, there are still always a drawer full. That's a pretty little quilt.

Pioneer Woman at Heart - I've always admired all of your handwork and feel warm fuzzies to have two pieces of your crochet work hanging on my quilt room wall. (Remember the rooster "potholder" and the gorgeous pink rose?) :o)
gz - Thank you! I have a tote in my quilt room where I toss all the leftovers from my quilting and have fun looking through it every now and then and having a light bulb moment of what I can do with them.

Leigh - Oh, gosh, thanks for the compliment on my colors. I think that's the hardest thing for me in quilting . . . choosing the right colors!
SmartAlex - Oh my, the old photos (and some of them priceless) we have stored (and unorganized) in a fireproof safe. Since our daughter is the genealogist and archivist in the family, I'm hoping she will get on that job soon. (Yes, I'm lazy in that respect!)

How nice that the weather or hum lack of has given you an opportunity to work on a quilting project! You are such an amazingly talented quilter.
I am almost compelled to send you a lovely kit that I purchased several years ago. But in fiber arts I think it is a felony to pawn off a project to another and then expect it returned done and ready to hang.
Goatldi = You're too kind in your compliments on my quilting. I don't think I'm as good at it as the sheer enjoyment I get from doing it. I have a need to create, started out with needles and yarn, went on to oil painting, and then stumbled into quilting which gives me the greatest joy and satisfaction. I can't imagine what it would be like to not have an interest in life that you can't get enough of. Can you? Not a felony "to pawn off" a project to another if you DON'T then expect it returned done and ready to hang. ;o)

Looks great! How about maybe something abstract? Maybe a piece of fabric you can stitch those on at odd angles? I'm not a quilter so I don't know what that would look like haha. I still have your couple of mini quilts you gave me, love to hang them up!
