Time for some fun!
I have two sets of "Christmas-y" quilted
pot holders that I'd like to
give away.
The picture above is of the front of
each pot holder.
And this is the back of them.
This set (on the top of the first picture)
is constructed of more traditional
Christmas fabric.
While this set (the bottom set shown)
is of a winter
farm yard holiday scene.
If you're interested in receiving one of these
sets, just leave a comment saying so
(indicate which set you would prefer),
and I'll draw two names
from a hat (maybe Santa's)
and send a set to each of the names drawn.
I'll close comments for this giveaway
this Sunday night, December 18th,
around 9 p.m. and announce
the winners on Monday morning.
So, want a chance to get a new
set of quilted Christmas pot holders?
Everyone's welcome to enter!

Farmy set please. They look cute. I should give away some of my stuff but it's so ugly I'd be ashamed.
Lisa - Your name is in the hat. You are bad, lady, really bad! What do you mean you're stuff is ugly?? I have a lovely piece of "your stuff" on my quilting room cutting table, it's gorgeous and I treasure it! (Also a Christmas-y hot pad that I use year 'round to set my quart pitcher of water for my steam iron on.) So there.
Oh dear........how does one choose?
Put my name in the hat--I'll let YOU decide which set I want.
:)
Oh I would love to have either set! Both are beautiful!
Sue
Sue - *I* would have to decide what you want?? That could be interesting . . . hee-hee.
Anonymous Sue - You're pretty easy, as is the Sue above you! Okay, both "Sues" are in the hat!
Put my name in for the scenery ones. All lovely though. Merry Christmas!
Both are gorgeous, but I am partial to the set that has the yellow fabric. Makes me think of sunshine on this sub-zero day!
OMG. They are both so lovely. I'll through my hat in for the first pair, please!
These are so pretty! I like both sets but my favorites are those with the farm print.

Either set would suit me fine. But, I have already won a giveaway (quilting books) from you so if you draw my name you can pick the next in line ... But, I really like the Christmas themed ones ...
Both sets are lovely! Either would be festive in my kitchen!
The farm scene set is my favorite. I have also won a giveaway (a little quilt back in March)from you so if you draw my name you can pick the next in line, too.
Both have merits but being a farm girl I will offer a home to the farm set. Would be thrilled as I really need a new set . Tired of burning my fingers. Thanks for the generosity and est if luck everyone!
Well, look at you giving away things, too! Those are two handsome sets and I would love either set.
Both are lovely but since my horses have been taught to drive, the farm set will fit right in. Thank you & Happy Holidays!
Dee

Your entered for the drawing, Heather!
I'm laughing at myself because I was really studying them trying to decide. Hope that's the most difficult decision I must make today. I believe I like the top set best.

Tina
mommar6 - Hope you didn't dally away too much of your day deciding! ;o} Your name is in Santa's hat.
Tina - It is done!
Oh my goodness Mama Pea .. I'd love to see the Farm Scene hanging in my kitchen. Both are beautiful, but ...
I would love either set, they are both so pretty. I've been reading your blog for a long time and would love to have something you made.
I LOVE the dark green ones but I will not enter. Li
ving in the Netherlands would make it too expensive. I really must learn to control my own sewingmachine better :-)
Those pot holders are too beautiful to use! The traditional ones would be nice in my kitchen -- smile. I'm still s-l-o-w-l-y working on the baby blanket that you so kindly sent me the pattern for. Very much enjoy reading your blog. Hope 2017 is a great one for you!
I love them both. You are so talented love your ducks & geese. Your daughter hasn't posted for quite a while.
mtnchild - You be entered! :o}
Lynda - Such kind words! Thank you and your name is in the hat.
Wendy - How sweet of you to comment and being sensitive re postal costs these days. (I think many of us have trouble "controlling" our sewing machines now and then!)
Gin2Weave - No, no, they're meant to be used! And should you win and don't use them, I would have to come and take them away from you! ;o}
I would LOVE to see a picture of whatever you have done on the baby blanket!
Your name is in the hat.
DDD - Thanks . . . your name is entered.
No, and it's a shame my daughter doesn't find time to post more regularly. She's a talented writer and has so much going on in her life to blog about! But as we all know, there are only so many hours in a day and we have to constantly make choices of how to spend them. Leave a note on her latest post telling her you miss her posts. She thinks no one reads her anymore so you would be encouragement. (Plus, she's tired of her mother nag her about it!)
These are very Christmasy! :) I love them!
Have a Merry Christmas :)
Optimistic Existentialist - Thank you! Which set do you prefer? Your name has been put in the hat.
Oh goodness those are lovely. Put my name in the hat if you will ship them to Canada. I'd be happy with either set. That is so wonderful of you to give away a set of your beautiful quilted pot holders. Happy Holidays!
Hi, Sparkless - I'll put your name in the hat. Good to hear from you!
So pretty Mama Pea! I love the farm yard scenes!
Momma Pea they are both so beautiful and I would be delighted with either one. Thank you so much for adding me to the "santa hat". And Merry Christmas to you and the family.
Thanks, Sarah. Your name is in the drawing.
Kim - Happy Holidays to you, too! You are entered.
I'd love the traditional fabric, I've always neede the square hotmits! :)
I posted earlier but do't see my post. What happened? Anyway I love your sewing and as a new quilter may have to try some of these. Have a great Christmas
LHinB - Sorry your comment came in past the deadline, Nancy. :o(
fivegirls - So sorry your post didn't appear until past the deadline. Pot holders are en excellent project for new quilters. At the same time as creating something useful, you get to practice any one of a hundred old-time quilt blocks . . . or just put together scraps of fabric in any way you wish. Happy holidays to you, too!
