Winter, that is.
More predicted for this coming week.
Along with cold temperatures which
means this new snow
will be with us for a while.
I'll leave you with the song that's been
running through my head all day
as I look out on the
beautiful scenery.
"It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas . . . "

I feel your pain. And thank you SO much for that song that I now can't get out of my mind....
Bah. I'm tired of it. I'm trying to con the hubby into a small road trip, but I have so many seedlings going, I'm afraid I'm stuck with the snow.
Oh gosh! It will come Spring one day, I just know it will. Enjoy the beauty!
Susan - On the one hand (you know how much I love winter) I'm saying I'm glad our winter season isn't over yet. On the other, I'm getting very itchy to get on with all the great spring/summer/fall projects we want to accomplish. Hey, the best of both worlds!
Can get that song out of your mind? Hee-hee-hee, that was intention, my pretty!
Sue - Yours will probably melt faster than ours, my friend, so hang in there. Do some more painting and playing time at the piano . . . you'll miss them both when spring finally does arrive!
Laurie - Yes, it always does. Sometimes just not as soon as we would like! And it truly is beautiful.
Not a song I'd like to hear this time of year: ( JoAnn (a former Minnesotan)
JoAnn - Your comment made me chuckle. How 'bout "When the red, red robin comes bob, bob, bobbin' along . . . " :o]
That works for me: ) JoAnn
well, we had 75', sunny and super windy ... it was awesome ---
Love the song. We had some lovely spring weather here in the PNW and now it is back to rain - but with the promise of two days of rain and then a week of sunshine. Stay warm - maybe you can spend your time quilting.
Ha! We had snow yesterday morning, but ended up mowing later in the day. April can be so finicky here too.
Mama Pea,
A little early for Christmas my dear friend :-)
I love the snow makes for pretty pictures, and even some good fishing. However, I prefer nice the sun to be out and temperatures in the 70's with a cool gentle breezy. You know.....that type of weather you want for planting :PPP
Stay warm, and don't get discouraged....sending hugs your way.
JoAnn - :o)
Marie - Boy, would 75 degrees, sunny and windy ever take care of our snow cover! THAT would be awesome!
JoAnn - So . . . would you consider trading your week of sunshine for our week of temps in the 20s? No? Can't say I blame you.
Kristina - Mowing already? Oh, my. We are sooooo far behind everyone else. Ugh.
Sandy - A little early? Or maybe a little late!!
When I first read your last sentence, I read it as ". . . sending BUGS your way." Yes, those, too, will come with the 70 degree temps!! :o]
Well Mama Pea, it is the same here 😐
mari - Winter just does not want to let go this year! Guess we'll have to wait it out, eh?
