I'm bad. I'm bad. I'm very, very bad.
Yesterday I should have been dehydrating kale and parsley and processing Brussels sprouts for the freezer.
Instead I took a mental health day and played in my quilt room. All day. It was wonderful.

I am SO glad you spent the day in your quilt room.... you are always so busy in your garden, your need a day off every once in a while. My problem is that the more I sew, the more I do not want to get out in the garden..... you know, sweat, get dirty, wear myself out....!! :) Your quilt is lovely! Be sure to show us more as it comes along.
At first, I thought that was the name of your quilt pattern! :) The quilt is lovely. We will be blessed with more sunny days for you to get the job done. Enjoy.
Rhonda
If I squint ... I can see a brussel sprout!
Lisa - I have the same problem as you . . . if I'm outside, I don't want to stop and go do things (that need to be done) inside. If I'm inside (ESPECIALLY in my quilt room!), I don't want to go do what needs to be done outside. Oh, such dilemmas we suffer!
odiie - Husband mentioned this morning that it looks like we have some warmish, lovely weather coming up. Time to go pull my onions!
I have a friend who once named a quilt she made "Help, Help! There's a Bear in My Blueberries!" You can guess what that quilt looked like!
Marie - You gave me a good laugh this morning! Thanks!
Ha ha ha ha! Laughing at Marie's comment too! You deserved it.
Now that is going to be one good looking quilt. Glad you took some time to enjoy life and play.
Kristina - Funny what you can see when you squint at something, eh? ;o)
Sparkless - Thanks! The strips that look "black" are really dark blues. Only trouble with taking a day off to play is that I'm grumpy the next day when the play day is over. ;o}
I need to get my quilt room read for the fall and winter months. That's my time to quilt since the garden is a sleep during this time.
You are so talented! Wow. And maybe the title for your quilt could be "I'm bad. I'm bad. I'm very, very bad." Not sure if you show your quilts but if you do that would get the people thinking!! ;-)
Michelle - But have you noticed, you never have as much time for quilting in the winter months as you had anticipated? I say let's change that this year!
Mollie - No, I don't show my quilts, but I sure do like the idea of naming this one as you suggested!! And thank you for your kind words, too.
