Looking out our south windows this morning . . .
The living room window.
The kitchen window.
And the window upstairs looking down on the garden. Can you see my twenty-seven raised garden beds? No, me neither.
But, get this. The temperatures this coming week are supposed to be above freezing every. single. day.
Let the melting begin!

Mama Pea,
Oh girl, I so feel for you. I was so happy when it warmed up down here, and we didn't get anywhere close to you in snow totals.
Just remember soon, real soon you'll be able to garden :-)
I could think of a title, but I have you fooled into thinking I'm a nice person, so I won't go there.
It's snowing so hard right now--but I'm not worried, because intermittently it POURS BUCKETS of rain. There goes my dry basement. The ground is frozen, the snow has no where to go, and rain/sleet/snow on top of it. I'm going back to bed...............
Sending condolences....
Oy. This has been some winter up there in Minnie Soda. I sure as heck hope that the warming trend becomes full-time and you get to see your raised beds again! Our snow has finally receded - mostly - and Holey Cow, what a mess! I know you and Papa Pea are itching to get out there...in less than six layers of clothes...
We were originally supposed to get 6+ inches but my son predicted the weathermen were clueless and he was right. We got nothing. Sorry that you got it instead!
Sandy - And it seems our warm weather will come fast. What with the snow going to last (unless something unusual happens) so long, we will go from nasty, damp, cold to sunny summer in a flash.
Sue - You may have the best idea . . . going back to bed! Or baking something yummy or stretching out on the couch to read or . . . yeah, going back to bed. :o)
JJ - Thank you. Much appreciated.
Susan - If only we could skip the mud/sloppy/wet/quagmire stage, huh?
tpals - You owe us. We took this one for you! ;o)
Oh my! I hope the weather warms up soon and all that snow melts so you can get going on your gardens.
Sparkless - The garden will NOT be dry to start off with, that's for sure!
I am not laughing at you but am laughing with you MamaPea. You remember this in July and August when it's 90* outside. Stay warm and keep the homefires burning.
Actually I've been missing your beautiful garden. I hope your snow will melt soon. I please sharing me your beautiful garden.
More snow?
Love your discipline about not having desert!!
You are my inspiration !!!
We are in the quagmire stage. I'm trying to remember what warm dry earth feels like. Soon right?
Sorry to hear this.....Spring is coming!
Wow. We are getting plowed with rain. I am looking forward to it drying out.
All you northerners are getting blasted with snow! When will it all end!
Lisa - I think at this point all we CAN do is laugh!
Endah - Thank you! I sure have nicer pictures to share when the garden is up and going!
DDD - I've hit a spell in which I'm really cranky about limiting what I'm eating so much! Do I wanna have bulges or be happy?? So don't look at me as much of an inspiration!
Tyche's Minder - Yeah, I know I grump about the dust during high summer time, but mud really gets me down! Don't like it.
M.E.Masterson - Is that a promise?
Kristina - April showers bring May flowers? We've had a little bit of rain this morning, too. At this point, it looks a lot better than snow!
Leigh - Well, our daytime temps for this coming week are all above freezing so let's hope this is the turning point and . . . NO MORE WINTER!
