Just a heads up to let you know we've been having Internet connection problems for the last three days.
Is it frustrating? Aw, heck no.
Have we come to depend on the Internet too much? (No comment.)
Today we had no service until noon, but right now we're A-OK . . . at least for the time being.
Soooo . . . if I don't post the winner of the drawing for the snowman wall hanging on Thursday as promised, know that I am once again unable to get connected.
On the other hand, maybe what has been happening is just a passing glitch and all will be well forever and ever now. (Believe that one, and our service provider will tell you another one. We have contacted them and they say our dish is "out of alignment." They will contact us within 3-5 days to set up an appointment for a repairman to come out. If, indeed, our dish is out of alignment, why does it seem to work perfectly some of the time? Either it's aligned to pick up the signal, or it's not. Hmmm, one of those great mysteries of life . . . )

yep, happens everywhere (even southern MN) ... stay warm!
I'd rather be without internet than without hot water (again....sigh....) Stay warm.
Marie - I know. We just have to go with it, flow with it. When we first moved up here I can remember our phone service (good, ol' land lines) going out every single time it rained!!
Kristina - Oh, no! Not again!!? Lordy, lordy what you have been going through this winter! We had -21° this morning . . . left the cabinets doors under the sink open last night again. So far, we haven't had any trouble. The sink is on a north wall so that sorta scares me. So sorry you're still battling it.
I know I get way too frustrated when the internet is down, how did I ever get along without it?!? LOL!!
You guys stay warm up there, it's pushing 70 here today.
Had this happen to us before and we were informed that the installer did not tighten one of the nuts so the dish kept moving every time weather moved thru...after he tightened it never had another issue....Good luck to ya hope they get it resolved.
Candy C. - Seventy ABOVE? ;o} Can't quite imagine that since we currently have 5°. At least it's 5° above though. And it's snowing. Which is funny since it's not supposed to be able to snow at such a cold temp!
M.E. Masterson - Hubby went out today and ascertained that everything is as tight as could be. They called this afternoon and said someone would be out tomorrow. Hurray!
We have satellite internet here too and usually lose ours on clear, sunny, bright-blue skies kind of days. Go figure. So aggravating. Hope all gets settled soon for you so you will stay 'connected'!
Lisa - It really is so hard to understand all the ins and outs of this technological age we are living in. Hubby thinks he knows what are problem is now . . . we'll see how "on" he is when the repairman comes this afternoon.
