Tombstone Livestock - Tucker was told he was getting a little too hefty so he's been on a bit of a restricted diet. But he is losing weight . . . and not suffering too much. Sadly, there will be no more food until dinner time tonight. (It's a rough life. :o( )
It's amazing how quickly they can go downhill, isn't it? Scrappy also inhales his food, lying in front of the bowl, both paws jealously guarding the bowl, just in case. That Tucker is a major cutie-pie!
He has the cutest face. I have to stop looking at dog pictures cause they make me want a dog so badly and we don't have the room or the money for a dog. sigh
Susan - Tucker is one of the happiest dogs I've ever seen. He's so easy to have around. He loves just about everybody he's ever met! (I should take lessons from him.)
Sparkless - When I think of all the abandoned dogs there are out there . . . well, I try not to think about it because then I'd end up with a whole herd of them!
Your Granddog Tucker is such a cutie! In good company with Tasha Tudor and Queen Elizabeth. Tasha Tudor even included hers in some of the books she wrote and illustrated. Cute photos of him hanging out by his dish!
Love the pictures of Tucker! And yes, that is usually the case with Toby too. Good to the last drop....especially with his canned venison on the top. :)
I live with my husband on a small homestead in Northern Minnesota. Our daughter currently lives in a small cabin in the woods not too far from us.
Our place is located outside a small town and a two and a half hour's drive from the nearest big city. Trips to the city are infrequent, well-planned, and exhausting!
We currently raise chickens and have hives of honey bees. Raising some of our meat and most of our fruits and vegetables is a priority for us; so, along with our birds for meat and eggs, we have fruit trees, berry patches and a huge vegetable garden.
Quilting is my passion, and I could happily spend each day in my quilt studio if I weren't happily spending each day out in the garden. Good thing we have winters up here; Mother Nature helps keep my life balanced.

Looks like he is trying to get to that bone in the bottom of the dish. Hope he didn't have to wait too long for more food.

Lisa - Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the silly photos.
Nancy po - The "duck" is his stuffed toy between him and the dish in the last photo.
