My hubby's favorite cookie is Walnut Clusters which are tons of chopped walnuts in a little bit of chocolate dough. He maintains they are very healthy because of all the nuts! She commented that breakfast every morning at her sister's house is . . . cookies! Not sure a sugar laden breakfast like that is the best way to start the day. (Lots less mess than eggs, toast, sausage or bacon though!)Mama Peahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03649357184167949247noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1423140573667417407.post-4142356615353931942011-10-17T19:19:16.067-05:002011-10-17T19:19:16.067-05:00Judy, Don't have a blog but I did read your &q...Judy, Don't have a blog but I did read your "thanks" on Mama Pea's. You are welcome. It was fun to look that up since it kept rolling around in my head like I should know what it is. You might be right, Mama Pea. Those words are pretty similar. Will have to do some linguistic searches. By the way, I made Toll House cookies today. See what you made me do by posting that giveaway? I am on a cookie jag. Now I am going to have to exercise night and day to get rid of those "cookie pounds".Karen L.https://www.blogger.com/profile/11803082902611080914noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1423140573667417407.post-74109169137462291502011-10-16T19:39:49.417-05:002011-10-16T19:39:49.417-05:00Karen L. - Well, I'll be darned! What I found was a Peach Kugan. Sounds like what Judy might be looking for and it sounds good too! Check this site:
http://www.cooks.com/rec/view/0,1713,158164-237193,00.html
I am from German descent so maybe that is why I thought I knew the word. Anyway, Mama Pea, I like pie well enough too (pieceofpieaholic ... hahaha) but with a cookie you can "grab and go", take it with you easily wherever you are headed. Don't even need a fork. Maybe that is the reason some of us like them more? Don't really know but my favorites are Toll House (made them twice a week when my three kids were young) and what my Mom called her Oatmeal Macaroons. No coconut in them so not sure where the name came from but I could eat them at every meal. Well with all this talk about cookies, I think I need to go get one or two .... or three or four!Karen L.https://www.blogger.com/profile/11803082902611080914noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1423140573667417407.post-44408688929775829942011-10-16T14:04:30.296-05:002011-10-16T14:04:30.296-05:00ill ask herill ask herRebecca Shockleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09205486342313768745noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1423140573667417407.post-76875039189254691432011-10-16T12:55:21.190-05:002011-10-16T12:55:21.190-05:00judy - Boy, you've stumped me there.
