Farmers here turn on water for their orange groves during freezing temps. Kinda like full ice trays take longer to freeze than ones that are half full. Build a bonfire, every thing should be too wet to start a forest fire. Or sit by the mail box and wait for our shipments of rice and beans. Must be frustrating to put all that work into your garden this year and have it go down the tubes. All your work on new raised beds, bed covers, weeding, weeding and more weeding. Hang in there .... I'll turn my fans towards Minni-soda and send some California hot air your way, I wish it was that easy. Take care, maybe you better start quilting up a storm so you have more blankets for the beds this winter.Tombstone Livestockhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07022776395762826903noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1423140573667417407.post-57013946087631881782013-07-28T19:33:13.240-05:002013-07-28T19:33:13.240-05:00I seem to remember reading about a freak hard free...I seem to remember reading about a freak hard freeze in July in Minnesota but I can't recall where. It's kind of too bad you didn't do your renovations this year cause then it wouldn't have mattered to your garden because you didn't plant one. Gardening is always hit and miss depending on the weather. Some years it's too hot, some too rainy, others not enough rain. Then this year it's too cold and rainy. The only good news is there's always next year.Sparklesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02806553694200529082noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1423140573667417407.post-73052529559895920672013-07-28T19:11:59.511-05:002013-07-28T19:11:59.511-05:00Praying it stays above 32 degrees for you guys.
